About The Position

Strategic Key Account Manager – BESS (Data Center & Strategic Key Account) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Strategic Market Expansion: Lead the business development and market penetration of BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) solutions within the North American Data Center (Hyperscale/Colo) and Global Enterprise sectors. Own the revenue targets and market share growth.  • High-Stakes Account Hunting: Identify, target, and secure Tier-1 strategic accounts. Build and maintain high-level relationships with C-Suite executives and technical decision-makers at Strategic Accounts.  • Solution Evangelism: Act as the primary technical and commercial lead to promote next-generation BESS solutions, positioning the company as the "Gold Standard" for mission-critical power infrastructure.  • R&D Strategic Alignment: Serve as the critical feedback loop between the market and R&D. Drive product roadmap enhancements by translating complex customer pain points into winning technical requirements.  • Technical Advisory & Influence: Support the sales cycle as a trusted advisor, navigating complex system-level trade to win technical buy-in from customer engineering teams.  • Ecosystem Leadership: Represent the company at premier industry events (e.g., 7x24 Exchange, Data Center World) to drive brand authority and influence industry standards.  • Regulatory & Compliance Strategy: Master and interpret UL 9540/9540A, NFPA 855, and NEC requirements to ensure all solutions meet the rigorous safety and reliability standards of the U.S. data center market.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5–10 years of progressive experience in Power Electronics, Energy Management, or Data Center Infrastructure (Power/Cooling).
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in "hunting" and closing multi-million dollar deals within the BESS, PV, or mission-critical power sectors.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of BESS architecture, lithium-ion safety, and grid-interactive technologies. Ability to lead deep-dive technical discussions with "zero-downtime" stakeholders.
  • Commercial Ambition: A self-starter with a "winner’s mindset," high emotional intelligence, and the ability to navigate long, complex sales cycles with high-value targets.
  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Power Systems, or related) from an accredited university.
  • Industry Expertise: Mandatory experience in Solar/Storage or Data Center power systems.
  • Results-Oriented: Relentless focus on hitting KPIs and closing strategic gaps in the market.
  • Consultative Communication: Ability to translate complex technical specifications into clear business value and ROI for stakeholders.
  • Strategic Agility: High-level problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • 50% or more: High mobility required to frequent customer headquarters, project sites, and industry summits across North America.
  • Location: Remote (USA Base).
  • Status: Full-time; No visa sponsorship available.

  • PE (Professional Engineer) license is highly preferred.
