About The Position

The Strategic Integration Intern supports the Strategic Integration department in a training capacity for a temporary period during Ascension’s Summer 2027 internship, running May 17 through August 6. The role is remote with travel averaging 50%, depending on project work and organizational needs, and follows a day schedule on a full-time basis.

The intern assists with implementing new healthcare strategies and processes across Ascension, including identifying next steps, tracking project tasks and goals, and following up with stakeholders. The role also involves preparing executive-level updates, status reports, and presentations; gathering and analyzing large datasets from multiple healthcare sources; and providing consistent change management and customer service to internal associates and external participants.

Requirements

• High school diploma equivalency or enrollment in an accredited program specific to the discipline.
• No required licensure or certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementations of new healthcare strategies and processes within Ascension.
• Identify critical next steps, track project tasks and goals, and follow up with stakeholders.
• Create, review, and present executive-level deliverables, including weekly updates, status reports, and presentations.
• Gather, interpret, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources in various areas of healthcare.
• Provide customer service and hospitality to internal associates and external participants, including consistent change management for end users.
• Perform department-specific responsibilities and tasks in a training capacity on a temporary basis.
