About The Position

At LDF Companies, we don’t just look at data, we analyze it and turn it into decisions. Dashboards don’t tell stories. Analysts do. We’re looking for a Strategic Insights Analyst who can go beyond pulling numbers and instead uncover what matters, simplify the message, and help teams and clients win. This is a highly visible, high-impact role that partners across sales, finance, and leadership. This is not a “send the report” job. This is a “find the story, make it actionable, and drive results” job. It is an opportunity to have a seat at the table instead of in a sea of cubicles.

Requirements

• Experience in an analyst or data-focused role
• Experience working in Excel and Power BI/Tableau
• Advanced Excel skills (modeling, pivots, data manipulation)
• Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to tell a clear, compelling story
• Ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights
• Strong attention to detail with a bias for action
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Turn data into selling stories
• Build compelling, insight-driven narratives that our company will actually use
• Translate complex data into clear, simple recommendations that drive action
• Support strategy and execution
• Maintain and enhance dashboards and reporting tools utilizing Power BI/ Tableau
• Deliver pricing and promotional insights
• Support Annual Business Plans (ABPs), retailer submissions, and supplier materials
• Enable teams through training
• Lead and support client and internal trainings on tools and syndicated data
• Help others become confident, capable users of data
• Support growth and new business
• Conduct research and prep for new business opportunities
• Build clean, professional materials
• Maintain organized and accurate tracking
• Own your work
• Manage priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality output
• Communicate early and clearly when something is off track
• Take pride in being reliable, proactive, and solutions-oriented
