Thyme Care•Remote, United States
•$140,250 - $220,000

About The Position

Thyme Care is hiring a Strategic Initiatives Lead to own high-stakes, ambiguous programs at the intersection of AI and new business development. The initial focus is shaping a new front door to cancer care that helps people navigate care from diagnosis, often before they have chosen where to receive treatment. The role will adapt its priorities as the team learns and identifies new opportunities. Adjacent to the AI Platform, this role will lead AI-heavy initiatives from early hypothesis through execution and scale. It will work directly with the Head of AI and collaborate across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Clinical, Operations, Legal, and Security. The role combines strategic program ownership, consumer product and acquisition work, stakeholder engagement, and development of external-facing materials and scalable playbooks. The position is based on Thyme Care's mission to make cancer care more connected, compassionate, and confident through high-touch human support, technology, data science, automation, and AI.

Requirements

  • A strong track record of building from scratch in highly cross-functional environments and owning large-scale initiatives from early concept through launch, iteration, and scale.
  • Experience building, launching, or growing a consumer-facing product.
  • Experience owning acquisition, including designing and iterating paid campaigns, optimizing spend, and using conversion-data feedback loops to inform product decisions.
  • Experience in tech-forward or AI-enabled environments, with the ability to engage deeply with technical teams and understand system capabilities, trade-offs, and constraints.
  • Experience evaluating, partnering with, or operationalizing emerging technologies, such as AI vendors, platform tooling, or data infrastructure.
  • Structured problem-solving skills in complex, high-stakes environments.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-evolving contexts where direction and constraints are not fully defined.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor narratives for executive, clinical, and external audiences.

  • Experience in consulting, investing, founding, or corporate strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategic programs end-to-end, from refining hypotheses through execution and scaling.
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into structured hypotheses, experiments, and workplans, creating clear artifacts to guide investment toward high-leverage opportunities.
  • Understand user needs and intent, and prioritize which user cohorts to serve first.
  • Engage members, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to communicate the company's vision, gather feedback, and establish and maintain strategic relationships.
