About The Position

This is a hard role to put in a box, which is intentional. The Strategic Initiatives Lead will report to the Chief of Staff and work on the problems that matter most to the business right now — not a fixed function. The first projects will likely sit in Growth and then move to GTM broadly speaking, but where you go next depends on what the company needs and what you're good at/eager to learn. People who've done this well tend to come from places where the feedback loop was short and the expectations were high — early-stage startups, ex-consultants, strategy roles that bled into execution, or careers where they had to build without a playbook. We're hiring for a specific way of thinking more than a specific background. This role requires someone with high agency and an extreme sense of ownership. If you build, test, and think from first principles, we want to talk.

Requirements

  • Fast because you're structured, not cutting corners.
  • Ability to sit with ambiguity long enough to form a real point of view, then act on it decisively and with speed.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills and fluency with data.
  • Ability to work with metrics and data to inform strategy, pressure-test assumptions, and translate findings into clear, actionable plans.
  • AI-pilled: Have an opinion on where each function should be leveraging AI and be eager to bring others along.
  • Bias to action and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Proactively look for opportunities and build towards them, rather than waiting for a brief.

Responsibilities

  • Find the wedge: Figure out which channels, content formats, and distribution motions actually produce predictable pipeline. Run this as a structured research problem, not a campaign calendar.
  • Operate AI-natively: Automate tasks using AI and build the infrastructure for a demand engine. Utilize tools like Clay for enrichment, n8n for workflows, and AI to replace manual work. Build with these tools and enable others.
  • Own the outcome: Tackle focused problems or work streams end-to-end, from research and structuring to execution, turning ambiguous questions into clear recommendations or running programs.
  • Write the playbook: Make wins repeatable by documenting what works, creating scalable motions for the team, and building the foundation for the function. Scale winning plays, hand them off, and start new experiments.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation including equity package
  • Competitive vacation policy
  • Medical Insurance
  • L&D budget
  • Access to Meditopia (wellbeing platform)
  • Language courses (English / Spanish)
