About The Position

In a Strategic Finance role, you will help drive how the company plans, allocates resources, and makes decisions as we scale. You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to translate strategy into financial models, evaluate key bets, and ensure we are investing behind the highest-impact opportunities. This role sits at the center of the business, spanning growth, product, operations, and fundraising. You will build the models and frameworks that define how we think about market expansion, unit economics, and long-term strategy, while also helping us operate with rigor day-to-day. This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will be expected to "act like an owner" and commit yourself to Forus' success. If you are low-ego, hungry to learn, and excited about intense, impactful work that drives both company growth and accelerated career progression, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

  • 2–10 years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or a similar high-rigor analytical role
  • Strong financial modeling skills — you are comfortable building from scratch and pressure-testing assumptions
  • Ability to go from an ambiguous question to a structured answer with minimal guidance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication: capable of translating complex financial insights into clear narrative for executive leadership, board, and investors.
  • Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals
  • High NPS with your former teammates

  • Lead scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to support decisions around pricing, market expansion, hiring, and capital allocation
  • Work directly with the CEO and leadership team on key initiatives, including new business lines, strategic partnerships, and fundraising strategy
  • Help design and evolve how the company operates, including planning cadence, resource allocation, and financial discipline as we scale
