About The Position

This role leads the management of high-value or complex client accounts. This role is responsible for strategic planning, client retention, and revenue growth through deep understanding of client needs and business objectives. Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience across payers, providers, and healthcare consumers. We serve more than 750 payers, including the top five national health plans, regional health plans, TPAs and millions of healthcare providers and consumers across our platform of solutions. Requirements

  • Typically has Bach. +4 yrs; Masters +2 yrs
  • Attends company training and regional training in area of expertise.
  • Presents own work to members of department and external consultants and external professional meetings
  • Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents.
  • Proven track record of growing accounts and meeting KPIs.
  • Excellent leadership and client-facing skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex client relationships and driving growth.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align client needs with company offerings.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and renewal processes.
  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client relationships for high-value or strategic accounts.
  • Own the end-to-end relationship for strategic accounts, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Develop account growth strategies and execute plans.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients.
  • Identify growth opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and solution expansion.
  • Resolve complex client issues with minimal supervision, leveraging internal resources.
  • Analyze market trends and provide insights to clients.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Mentor junior account managers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
