About The Position
GDIT is seeking a Strategic Advisor to join their team supporting the Veterans Affairs (VA) Business Area. This role offers a leadership opportunity to address critical VA-specific technology and mission challenges. The position requires a proven track record of growing business on large and strategic opportunities, collaborative work within the Federal Health division, and demonstrated customer intimacy, particularly an understanding of the Department of Veterans Affairs' strategic direction.
Requirements
- BS degree and 10+ years of senior leadership experience in federal operations, sales, and/or technical business management.
- Demonstrated experience leading large programs and enabling IT modernization strategy at VA and within the federal customer landscape at an enterprise scale.
- Extensive background providing strategy for federal government program modernization, including operations.
- Successful federal procurement focus on mission and Health IT services.
- Experience understanding customer needs for cutting-edge technology and digital transformation.
- Ability to deliver and advise on solutions for VA and other Federal Health customers.
- Strong communications, presentation, and strategy development skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of customer and GDIT leadership.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance and/or Public Trust.

Responsibilities
- Develop a technology modernization roadmap to expand GDIT's footprint across VA.
- Support technical modernization strategies, strategic captures, and business development aligned with GDIT's VA strategy.
- Establish C-level relationships within the federal health portfolio to connect GDIT's technology capabilities with the VA IT Modernization strategy.
- Leverage existing relationships to enhance execution and support organic growth on strategic programs.
- Provide technical feedback on new business opportunities in the VA pipeline.
- Offer high-level consulting, strategy, and leadership for large, enterprise programs and initiatives within the HHS Business Area.
- Support VA delivery teams with tactical and operations strategy and guidance as needed.
