About The Position

Saber Power Services, a portfolio company of Greenbelt Capital Partners, is a fully integrated electrical power system services firm providing end-to-end solutions across utility, renewables and battery storage, industrial, petrochemical, and other markets. Based in Houston, Texas, Saber Power offers deep subject matter expertise and uses an engineering-led approach to designing, installing, testing, and maintaining medium and high-voltage electrical infrastructure. Saber serves clients locally, nationally, and abroad. Saber Power Services is seeking a skilled Strategic Account Manager to oversee and manage client relationships on a national basis in pursuit of our growth goals. In this role, you will function as the senior account representative for the company and work with our clients and partners in one more focused categories such as; National Accounts, Contractors, OEMs & O&M Service Providers. You must possess excellent interpersonal skills, confidence, and collaboration skills and the ability to lead the execution of managing accounts across the country. A top-notch strategic account manager will bring skills as a negotiator, problem solver, and thought leader to the table.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or business is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Business Development or Account Management.
  • Sales selling electrical/power or engineering related services.
  • Experience with demonstrated history of sales performance in multiple markets.
  • Ability to interact with all levels within an organization.
  • A solid grasp of sales metrics, performance measures, and technical indicators.
  • A thorough aptitude for analysis and strategy.
  • Decisive thinking and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills.
  • Negotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
  • Dynamic and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive account plans with trackable metrics and KPIs.
  • Provided sales leadership on strategic initiatives within large, focused categories.
  • Maintaining National and Corp. level relationships to promote long-term growth.
  • Strategic engagement and planning with Saber’s operations and regional sales team.
  • Monitoring and identifying strategic prospects/partners, market trends, competitive advantages which allow for long term growth.
  • Reporting to senior management on the status of your accounts and initiatives.
  • Taking a leading role in presentations at the National and Regional Account level.
  • May require 50% travel
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
