About The Position

When a hospital, a senior living community, a property management company, or a national retailer has water in the building or fire damage overnight, they need one trusted partner who can get the right team there fast, in every market they operate. As a Strategic Accounts Executive at Fortify, you build those relationships at the national level and make sure the promise holds up locally. You will be telling a story nobody else in the industry can tell. Fortify Companies is changing the way property protection works. Requirements

5+ years of business development or national account sales experience, ideally in facilities services, property management, healthcare, government contracting, hospitality, or restoration and disaster recovery.
An established network of decision makers at national commercial organizations, and a track record of turning those relationships into new business.
Experience working through a distributed or franchised delivery network, connecting a centrally negotiated agreement to locally delivered service.
Comfort with long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and complex procurement processes. RFP and RFI experience is a plus.
Strong discovery and consultative selling skills.
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
Comfort coaching teams with different levels of commercial experience.
You take ownership, hold yourself accountable, and are ready to build the processes and relationships needed to stand up a new function.
The ability to earn credibility with facilities, risk, procurement, and operations leaders, as well as regional and franchise sales teams.
Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
Willingness to travel about 50% of the time for prospect meetings, conferences, and business development.

Responsibilities

Win new national commercial business
Build and run a prospecting plan targeting national accounts in your assigned vertical.
Identify and prioritize target accounts based on size, geographic reach, and growth potential.
Build relationships with decision makers in facilities, risk management, procurement, and operations.
Lead discovery conversations to understand each prospect's current vendors, pain points, service needs, and decision process.
Share the Fortify story: national coverage, mitigation and reconstruction capability, fast emergency response, and large loss experience.
Build and present proposals, RFP responses, and business cases tailored to each account.
Lead or support pricing, contracting, and negotiation through to a signed agreement.
Represent Fortify at national industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Share what you learn about competitors and the market with Fortify commercial leadership to shape pricing, positioning, and strategy.
Turn national agreements into local work
Hand off newly won accounts cleanly to Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and Rytech franchisees, with clear service expectations, SLAs, and points of contact.
Work with regional sales teams and franchisees to activate signed accounts and convert them into local assignment volume.
Share commercial best practices and playbook guidance so national accounts are handled consistently in every market.
Partner with local production and operations teams so the work delivered matches what was promised during the sale.
Own and grow the relationship
Serve as the executive relationship owner for signed national accounts, running regular business reviews and acting as the escalation point.
Track account performance against national commitments and address service gaps before they put the relationship at risk.
Own renewals and find opportunities to expand accounts into new service lines, markets, or divisions.
Manage your pipeline and forecast
Keep an accurate pipeline in our CRM, including stage, probability, timing, and revenue potential.
Provide regular, accurate forecasts of new account wins and revenue.
Track calls, meetings, and proposals against targets and adjust your outreach as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team and business.
