About The Position

This role is part of Nutanix's Healthcare sales team for the East region, aiming to bring simplicity and efficiency to a complex world. The team receives strong support from Nutanix's Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development departments, providing tools to achieve sales goals. The individual in this position will work closely with co-founders and VPs, significantly influencing sales team decisions and initiatives. The East Healthcare team at Nutanix is a dynamic and close-knit group dedicated to providing top-notch solutions to clients in the healthcare industry. It consists of eleven Account Teams reporting to the Director, Sales. The team culture is highly competitive, yet supportive, fostering collaboration and respect, adhering to values of being Hungry, Humble, Honest with Heart. As a Healthcare Account Manager, the role involves engaging with prospects, customers, and partners, requiring regular travel within the territory to build relationships and drive business outcomes within the healthcare industry.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of direct sales experience.
  • Track record of success selling into the Healthcare vertical in the territory.
  • Strong technical expertise required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions and organizations.
  • Excellent relationship management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work closely with executives on business outcomes.
  • Prior success selling to large healthcare providers in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Nutanix products and solutions through channel partners and direct customer interactions to healthcare providers.
  • Build and strengthen business relationships with current customers, new accounts, and the partner ecosystem.
  • Provide status information, forecast/pipeline updates, and product feedback to management.
  • Penetrate new divisions and organizations within partner accounts.
  • Schedule and attend sales call appointments, respond to RFPs, and follow up with prospects.
  • Recommend marketing strategies and facilitate training opportunities for accounts.
  • Drive new account acquisition and exceed sales performance goals.
