About The Position

AegisAI is a startup founded by ex-Google engineers who previously built large defensive platforms like Safe Browsing and reCAPTCHA. Backed by $36M in Series A funding, the company is focused on stopping adversarial AI attacks. The email security market is large and ripe for disruption, as legacy systems struggle against AI-powered attacks. AegisAI is developing an LLM-native email security platform using autonomous AI agents designed for this new threat landscape. The Strategic Account Executive role is crucial for turning AegisAI's technology into revenue, pipeline, and market momentum. This position will manage the largest and most complex enterprise accounts (10,000+ employees) from initial contact through closing and expansion. The team has a strong existing pipeline of enterprise clients, and they are looking for an experienced professional to manage these opportunities. The role involves close collaboration with founders, product, and marketing teams to align enterprise and partner sales strategies with top-of-funnel demand. This is a unique opportunity to not just follow a playbook, but to help create it.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of strategic or enterprise SaaS sales experience, specifically selling into organizations with 3,000+ employees.
  • A proven track record of closing six-figure deals, driving millions in pipeline, and consistently exceeding new ARR quotas.
  • Technical fluency. Comfortable selling technical, security-focused products. Sell new detection paradigms, not checkboxes.
  • Self-starter. Ability to prospect, run deals, and close independently without heavy enablement.
  • Bias toward action. Think in days and weeks, not quarters.
  • Strong discovery skills and the ability to translate technical value into measurable business impact.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling security, email security, or detection systems.
  • Start-up experience: Success at an early-stage, Series A underdog, or a new entrant competing against massive incumbents.
  • Exposure to PLG-assisted sales motions.
  • Comfort selling alongside highly technical founders.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Full Sales Cycle: Lead consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in competitive, incumbent-heavy environments. Act as an internal guide for the customer, adeptly navigating and supporting complex enterprise buying processes.
  • Qualify & Build Business Cases: Uncover deep customer pain points and connect them to compelling, value-driven solutions. Build rigorous business cases, quantifying ROI across multiple dimensions for diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Resonate & Present: Tailor demos and messaging to resonate with technical security leaders and C-suite executives based on their specific business challenges.
  • Drive Process & Data Discipline: Maintain accurate, consistent account and opportunity data across all sales systems (Salesforce, Highspot, Close Plan). Employ a repeatable sales methodology to manage multiple high-value deals without sacrificing quality.
  • Share Knowledge & Influence Product: Extract, organize, and document customer insights to enable broader team learning. Be a voice for the customer with Product and Marketing to ensure appropriate prioritization, influence the roadmap, and refine positioning.
  • Leverage the Team: Resourcefully utilize cross-functional teams including SEs, Marketing, BDRs, Product, and Customer Success to win new logos.
