About The Position

Guru Studio is hiring a Storyboard Artist for a new action-comedy wrestling shorts series for children ages 8–11. The role involves revising storyboard panels in response to the director’s notes, following guidance from notes and discussions, and communicating work progress to the director, assistant director, and production team. The artist is expected to maintain the show’s quality and style while drawing quickly in a loose, gestural style that supports clear storytelling and meets deadlines.

This is a fixed-term contract of approximately four weeks. The expected compensation is $4,000 per board ($1,000 per one-minute episode), depending on experience and role requirements. The role can be performed remotely, with Guru Studio’s downtown studio available for in-person team building and collaboration.

Requirements

• Excellent drawing and composition skills.
• Solid knowledge of story, including language, acting, and craft.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to work digitally.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Comfort drawing in a loose, gestural style while maintaining quality and clear storytelling.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in StoryboardPRO and/or Photoshop.
