The Stores Clerk is responsible for receiving orders, stocking, filling requisitions, taking inventory, and sanitation. This role involves approximately 60% of time dedicated to receiving, distribution, and inventory management, including receiving and stocking deliveries, checking order accuracy, noting discrepancies, rotating stock, issuing supplies, and tracking physical inventory. An additional 30% of the time is allocated to sanitation, safety, and support functions, such as discarding outdated items, cleaning storerooms, managing debris, maintaining equipment, ensuring storeroom security, and assisting on the trayline or with dishwashing duties when stores tasks are complete or on non-delivery days. The remaining 10% is for other related duties as assigned.
