About The Position

This role facilitates company strategies for MRO management, performs physical inventory of parts & supplies, and conducts daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts. The Storeroom Coordinator issues parts & supplies to Maintenance and production personnel, conducts entry in CMMS of stock disbursements, and handles dispatching of repair & returns. This position is responsible for restocking bins for goods receipts, improving existing part descriptions, and ensuring compliance with all Fiberon policies and procedures. The role involves participating on assigned teams, supporting team decisions, performing area housekeeping duties, and conducting all work in a safe and efficient manner. Additionally, the Storeroom Coordinator obtains RMA numbers from suppliers as needed, prepares items for shipment, communicates with suppliers, maintains accurate equipment data in CMMS, enters work order data into CMMS, and assists the Maintenance Manager in the routine maintenance and upkeep of the CMMS. Clerical support as needed and other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must exhibit a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • 6 months experience working in a storeroom or tool crib
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment, components and parts in order to best support the facility maintenance team
  • High School diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical support as needed.
