About The Position

The Storeroom Coordinator facilitates company strategies for MRO management. This role involves performing physical inventory of parts and supplies, conducting daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts, and issuing parts and supplies to Maintenance and production personnel. The coordinator will also conduct entry in CMMS of stock disbursements, dispatching of repair & returns, and restocking of bins for goods receipts. Responsibilities include improving part descriptions on existing parts, complying with all Fiberon policies and procedures, participating on assigned teams, supporting team decisions, and performing area housekeeping duties. All work must be performed in a safe and efficient manner. The role also involves obtaining RMA numbers from suppliers as needed, preparing items for shipment and/or communicating with suppliers as required, maintaining accurate equipment data in CMMS, entering work order data into CMMS, and assisting the Maintenance Manager in the routine maintenance and upkeep of the CMMS. Clerical support will be provided as needed, and other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must exhibit a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • 6 months experience working in a storeroom or tool crib
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment, components and parts in order to best support the facility maintenance team
  • High School diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience with CMMS (MP2 Preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and AS400 required.
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills

Responsibilities
