About The Position

Frostburg State University (FSU) seeks applications for a full-time contractual, non-exempt Storekeeper II position. Salary range 6 and includes the University of Maryland contractual benefits package which includes paid leave, holidays, and sick leave; contractual employee health benefits and tuition remission benefits; and supplemental retirement options.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Two years of related work experience
Valid Maryland non-commercial Class C or commercial Class B or equivalent driver's license
Working knowledge of the procedures and practices of issuing and storing supplies, materials, and equipment
Ability to perform basic mathematics
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to follow directions
Ability to provide guidance and instruction to others
Ability to operate computers and other standard office equipment
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
Ability to perform extensive standing, walking, and climbing
Ability to lift, transport and stock assigned supplies and materials
Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment
Candidates selected for employment will be subject to medical inquiries and/or medical examinations to determine ability to perform the job

Responsibilities

Receiving, storing, and distributing supplies, materials, and equipment
Maintaining storeroom inventory
Providing guidance and training to support staff
Receiving and inspecting shipments to ensure compliance with delivery documentation and purchase order specifications
Processing receiving records
Accurately identifying inventory through tagging, labeling, etching, or other marking methods
Routing and delivering supplies, materials, and equipment to designated locations across campus
Performing other related duties as assigned
