About The Position

Located in Wallingford, the Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC) is a quasi-public agency of the State of Connecticut. We partner with over 2,800 retailers to sell our lottery and sports betting products statewide. With a strong focus on responsible gambling, we have delivered more than $12 billion for many valuable programs and causes and proudly contributed $387 million to the States General Fund last year. We are currently recruiting a Storekeeper Assistant for our Warehouse. This is a 40 hour/week, first shift, position working Monday through Friday. Please note, this position is not available for remote work. All work must be performed on-site from a secure location.

Responsibilities

perform a full range of basic tasks in receiving, storing and issuing of materials and supplies
pick and pack lottery orders from a computer terminal
physically pack lottery ticket orders for distribution
receive materials and supplies
unpack, count, weigh and inspect for damage or non-conformance with an order
wrap and assemble items
clean and maintain shelves, bins and other storage space
perform related duties in recordkeeping, requisitioning, or inventory control
perform other routine warehouse tasks as assigned
operate simple material handling equipment
