About The Position
85°C Bakery Cafe is hiring a Storefront Associate to help create an outstanding customer experience while supporting bakery and beverage operations. The role includes customer service, cashiering, beverage preparation, bread merchandising, and maintaining a clean, organized, food-safe environment. Associates collaborate with teammates and store leadership, follow company policies and Health Department regulations, and cross-train across cashier/POS, bar, bread, and cake areas. The position is listed as full-time/part-time, with a requirement to be available at least 20 hours per week.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to speak and understand conversational English.
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification where required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform repetitive hand movements, frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and squat, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including coolers and freezers.
