About The Position

The Store Team Member delivers friendly customer service, helps customers locate products and find solutions, and provides a fast, friendly checkout experience. The role supports store operations through truck unloading, stocking, planogram work, merchandise recovery, store maintenance, and in-stock activities. Team members also support online order processes, customer loyalty and credit-card enrollments, customer surveys, and store safety and shrink programs. Team members are cross-trained in Custom Framing sales and production and may perform other duties as assigned.

The work takes place in a public retail store. Public areas are climate controlled, while some stock rooms may not be. Some outdoor work may be required when retrieving carts or unloading trucks. The frame shop contains a glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings. This is a seasonal, part-time position in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and find solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout service and handle cash according to standards.
• Explain the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns and go-backs, to help maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company programs, policies, and standards to comply with applicable laws and requirements.
• Interact with others respectfully, maintain a positive attitude in difficult situations, support the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a positive role model.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
