About The Position
The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and applying customer experience principles. The role also involves maintaining a clean, organized, and safe store environment while following operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards. Associates may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position may include customer transactions, merchandise processing and presentation, store recovery, and participation in shrink-reduction and safety programs. Associates are expected to contribute to a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and to provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and modeling established customer experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
