About The Position

The Store Team Member delivers friendly customer service, helps customers shop and locate products, and provides solutions. The role ensures a fast and friendly checkout experience and supports store operations, including truck unloading, stocking, merchandise recovery, and maintaining store standards. Team members are cross-trained in Custom Framing sales and production and perform other duties as assigned.

This position is based in a public retail store. Public areas are climate controlled, while some stock rooms may not be. Some outdoor work may be required when retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. The frame shop contains a glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and meet applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and find solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout service and handle cash according to standards.
• Promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns/go-backs and general store recovery, to help maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow standard operating procedures, company programs, policies, and standards to comply with applicable laws and requirements.
• Interact respectfully with others, maintain a positive approach in difficult situations, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a positive role model.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
