About The Position

At Wegmans, the Store Shopper supports the company's curbside pickup service by using technology to engage with customers through an app, shop their grocery orders, and stage them for pickup. The position is part time and located at 745 Calkins Road, Rochester, NY 14623. Availability is required for mornings and afternoons, including weekends. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Requirements

Customer service experience, preferably in a food service, grocery, or retail setting.
Ability to use a company-issued device to manage orders and communicate with customers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Must be 18 years or older.
Availability for mornings and afternoons, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Use technology to communicate with customers and fulfill their orders.
Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders and stage them in the fulfillment area.
Handle products properly, including bagging items appropriately for customers.
Make appropriate substitutions as needed and process payments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
Carry out other customer service duties within the store as needed, which may include running a register.
