About The Position

Store Shoppers help Wegmans provide fast, efficient, and convenient grocery shopping through curbside pickup. Using a company-issued device and an app, they shop customer orders and stage them for pickup. The role is suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing customers with fresh, high-quality products. Shoppers may also perform other customer service duties in the store as needed.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Customer service experience, preferably in food service, grocery, or retail.
Ability to use a company-issued device to manage orders and communicate with customers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Availability for morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Use technology to communicate with customers and fulfill their orders.
Accurately and efficiently shop customer orders and stage them in the fulfillment area.
Handle products properly, including bagging items appropriately for customers.
Make appropriate substitutions as needed and process payments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
Perform other customer service duties within the store as needed, including operating a register.
