Store Sales Specialist
About The Position
REI Co-op seeks a Store Sales Specialist to help customers have better outdoor experiences by sharing product knowledge, making recommendations, and engaging with customers. The role supports REI’s customer satisfaction guarantee by facilitating transactions, selling memberships, and offering REI products and services. It also helps maintain store appearance and organize merchandise on the sales floor, while keeping current on REI products, services, and trends. The position includes assisting customers, supporting store pickup and product processing, maintaining visual standards, participating in sales and service training, and following loss-prevention and safety procedures. The employee should be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs. Responsibilities
- Assist customers with questions about products, memberships, and special ticket sales.
- Maintain visual standards in coordination with store management, merchandising, and sales leads.
- Participate in REI Sales & Service Training and promote REI goods and services.
- Support store pickup, including receiving and processing products.
- Follow REI loss-prevention and safety procedures.
- Work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Facilitate transactions and sell memberships and REI products and services.
- Help keep the store looking good and merchandise organized on the floor.
- Stay current on REI products, services, and trends and share that knowledge with customers.
