About The Position

REI Co-op is seeking a Store Sales Specialist to help customers have better outdoor experiences by sharing product knowledge, making recommendations, and engaging with them. The role supports REI’s customer satisfaction guarantee by facilitating transactions, selling memberships, and offering REI products and services. It also helps maintain the appearance and organization of merchandise on the sales floor and keeps current on REI products and services and relevant trends.

The specialist supports store pickup by receiving and processing products, follows loss-prevention and safety procedures, and works a flexible schedule based on business needs. REI emphasizes an inclusive, values-led culture in which employees contribute their skills and perspectives and help create a sense of belonging.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions about products, memberships, and special ticket sales.
• Maintain visual standards in coordination with store management, merchandising, and sales leads.
• Participate in REI Sales & Service Training and promote REI goods and services.
• Support store pickup, including receiving and processing products.
• Follow REI loss-prevention and safety procedures.
• Work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
