Store Sales Specialist
About The Position
REI Co-op is seeking a Store Sales Specialist to help customers have better outdoor experiences by sharing product knowledge, making recommendations, and engaging with customers. The role supports REI’s customer satisfaction guarantee by facilitating transactions, selling memberships, and offering REI products and services. It also contributes to store appearance and merchandise organization, while staying current on product and service trends to inform customers. The position involves helping customers with products, memberships, and special ticket sales; maintaining visual standards; participating in sales and service training; supporting store pickup and product processing; and following loss-prevention and safety procedures. The employee must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs. Store retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers with questions about products, memberships, and special ticket sales.
- Maintain visual standards in coordination with store management, merchandising, and sales leads.
- Participate in REI Sales & Service Training and promote REI goods and services.
- Support store pickup, including receiving and processing products.
- Follow REI loss prevention and safety procedures.
- Work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Help keep the store looking good and merchandise organized on the floor.
