About The Position

Deseret Book is a mission-driven company that creates and curates expressions of faith intended to improve the lives of individuals and families. The Store Sales Associate helps customers find inspiration and assistance by selling Deseret Book products and services and providing exceptional customer service. The position is based at the Rexburg, Idaho store and pays $13.70 per hour. The starting date is listed as immediately.

Requirements

Ability to interact with customers in person and over the phone on a day-to-day basis.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good team skills.
Self-motivated.
Ability to hear, understand, and respond to customers and associates.
Ability to locate and identify products for customers.
Ability to regularly lift 20 pounds and occasionally lift 35–50 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Responsibilities

Sell Deseret Book products and services while providing exceptional customer service.
Assist customers by operating cash registers, locating products, taking orders, imprinting, and gift-wrapping.
Maintain store appearance and organization by stocking shelves, unpacking merchandise shipments, and assisting with merchandise presentation.
Work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
