Store Manager
About The Position
Total Tool, a NEFCO company, is an industry leader providing tools, equipment, rentals, repairs, and custom solutions to keep job sites running safely and efficiently. With more than 70 locations nationwide, continued branch openings, and investment in people and operations, NEFCO is growing and creating opportunities for employees. The Store Manager oversees day-to-day branch operations, leads and develops a high-performing team, and delivers an exceptional customer experience. The manager is responsible for employees in Counter Sales, Warehouse, and Delivery Driver roles, branch organization and efficiency, shipping and receiving, inventory accuracy, safety, and employee engagement. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Requirements
- Experience managing, mentoring, and coaching a team of employees.
- At least 3 years of previous management experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to keep the team informed and connected.
- Highly motivated.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to stand on a hard surface for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds daily.

- Construction or industrial experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and manage branch employees in Counter Sales, Warehouse, and Delivery Driver roles.
- Foster a customer-focused environment through product knowledge, service standards, and consistent customer engagement.
- Ensure the sales floor and warehouse are well-stocked, organized, clean, and operating efficiently.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and daily cycle counts.
- Monitor performance, address issues, and actively recruit top talent.
- Perform store functions as needed and lead by example.
- Maintain a safe work environment and promote daily employee engagement and development.
