About The Position

The Store Manager serves as the face of ACE Cash Express, providing customer service, facilitating sales, building professional relationships with customers, and developing in-depth knowledge of the company’s lending services where applicable, check cashing, and card services. The role is accountable for overall store performance and operations, and includes supporting and training store employees, promoting ACE financial services, and ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines. The position requires working 10–12 hours in a confined work area, subject to state-specific labor laws. Occasional travel to other stores to work may be required. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and take accountability for overall store performance.
Ability to build customer trust through active listening, effective communication, and empathy.
Ability to understand ACE’s range of financial products and services.
Ability to work 10–12 hours in a confined work area, subject to state-specific labor laws.
Ability to stand for extended periods and to sit, walk, reach, stoop, bend, communicate verbally, and listen actively.
Ability to see clearly at close and distant ranges and adjust focus.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of retail experience.
Proficiency in Spanish, welcomed in most markets.
Entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

Understand customers’ needs and recommend appropriate ACE products and services.
Support Sales Associates and guide them toward success in their roles.
Listen actively, communicate clearly, and show empathy in customer interactions.
Manage store operations and drive overall store performance, including activities that may involve cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services.
Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines.
Promote ACE financial services through cross-selling, marketing strategies, and community marketing.
Train and support store employees in product knowledge.
Travel to other stores to work on occasion, if required.
