About The Position
The Store Manager conveys a positive impression of HUGO BOSS to the marketplace by delivering an exceptional shopping experience, showcasing the brand through exciting merchandise presentations, and executing operational strategies that result in positive operating profits. The role leads and develops store staff, drives sales and profitability, maintains inventory control and operational standards, and builds community relationships. It also supports store management in ensuring high standards for Health & Safety.
Requirements
- Five years of specialty retail management experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, time-management, and leadership skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial approach.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent knowledge of HUGO BOSS products.
- Strong consulting, negotiation, problem-resolution, mediation, and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Four-year degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Train and develop staff through effective communication, and support exceptional customer service, business growth with the merchant group, and general problem solving.
- Achieve positive results in top-line sales, profit and loss management, and inventory control.
- Establish a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, building a client base, and exceptional service.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are executed and policies are followed.
- Cultivate relationships with the community through personal involvement, PR events, and advertising opportunities.
- Manage personnel activities, including hiring, training, appraising, rewarding, motivating, and disciplining staff.
- Monitor performance, provide direction, and take corrective action when needed.
- Evaluate and respond to performance issues and actively recruit candidates.
- Lead, motivate, develop, and inspire a team while creating an empowered organization.
- Ensure relevant Health & Safety conditions are fulfilled and empower store staff to achieve high standards.
- Maintain knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures, and ensure related documentation is recorded and maintained.
