About The Position

The Manager will have accountability for overseeing store sales and operations and for achieving the monthly sales and net operating income budgets for their respective location. Managers are responsible for store staffing, scheduling, and associate training, and development. Managers will also play an important role in local marketing efforts, proactive selling, and building solid relationships with contractors and homeowners. Additionally, the Manager initiates and enforces all policies and procedures to ensure that exemplary customer service is provided.

Requirements

  • One year of management or comparable supervisory-level experience in a related field.
  • Interpersonal skills conducive to team building.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and types 45WPM.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks for self and others.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive, friendly, and upbeat attitude.
  • Knowledge of customer service management programs.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, workers’ compensation laws, and OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory to ensure availability for the customer.
  • Analyzes sales information and identifies customer requirements and trends.
  • Approves all discounts and/or adjustments to any sale.
  • Reviews and manages all warranty claims.
  • Executes marketing strategies to meet profitability and customer service goals.
  • Provide estimates, process invoices, and accept payment from customers and contractors.
  • Calculate square footage, linear footage, area, circumference, volume, percentages, and discounts.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge of products and installation methods.
  • Keeps maintenance records and coordinates repairs for all equipment and vehicles.
  • Maintains consistent attendance at the location during business hours and is available by cell phone.
  • Must be available for emergencies as needed.
  • Effective oral and written communication with customers, employees, and vendors.
  • Maintain compliance with all legal requirements and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Develops location specific action plans to improve selling behaviors and activities that drive performance versus plan.
  • Other duties as assigned.
