About The Position

The Store Manager is an on-the-floor leader who performs store functions while guiding and role-modeling for the team. The manager coaches, develops, and inspires associates to represent Sunglass Hut and deliver the Sunglass Hut Experience, creating an environment where great service translates into sales. The role focuses on achieving sales and financial objectives, developing talent, maintaining brand and operational standards, and building customer relationships. The manager spends an average of 100% of their time on the sales floor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of previous leadership experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in every aspect of store operations.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to use critical thinking to deliver consistent execution of store operations.

Responsibilities

• Use Sunglass Hut Experience tools to consistently deliver the sales plan and company objectives.
• Develop the store’s strategic plan to achieve financial results.
• Drive sales by identifying opportunities to achieve personal and store goals.
• Coach, develop, mentor, and inspire the team to improve store performance.
• Encourage teamwork, career growth, and talent retention through a development-focused environment.
• Network, recruit, hire to meet staffing needs, and train associates using onboarding tools.
• Create individual development plans to support team growth.
• Create an inspirational and motivating work environment that reflects the brand’s integrity.
• Build an emotional connection within the store team that supports sales and consistent delivery of the Sunglass Hut Experience.
• Spend an average of 100% of time present on the sales floor.
• Develop customer relationships through interaction and feedback.
• Represent the Sunglass Hut brand and consistently execute brand standards.
• Stay knowledgeable about products, new merchandise, and fashion trends.
• Ensure execution of operational policies and procedures and maintain brand standards.
• Communicate promotions, contests, and incentives to the team.
