About The Position
The Store Manager is an on-the-floor leader who performs store functions while guiding and serving as a role model for the team. The manager coaches, develops, and inspires employees to act as Sunglass Hut ambassadors and deliver the Sunglass Hut Experience. This role creates an environment centered on outstanding service, customer relationships, sales, and achievement of company objectives. The Store Manager develops the store’s strategic plan, drives financial results, recruits and trains staff, maintains brand and operational standards, and spends an average of 100% of their time on the sales floor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of previous leadership experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in every aspect of store operations.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to use critical thinking to deliver accurate execution of store operations.

Responsibilities
- Use Sunglass Hut Experience tools to consistently deliver the sales plan and company objectives.
- Develop the store’s strategic plan to achieve financial results.
- Drive sales by identifying opportunities to achieve personal and store goals.
- Lead by example by coaching, developing, mentoring, and inspiring the team to improve store performance.
- Support career growth, teamwork, and talent retention through a development-focused environment.
- Network, recruit, hire to meet staffing needs, and train employees using onboarding tools.
- Inspire team growth through individual development plans.
- Create an inspirational and motivating work environment that reflects the integrity of the brand.
- Build an emotional connection within the store team that supports sales and consistent delivery of the Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Spend an average of 100% of time present on the sales floor.
- Coach and develop the team to ensure consistent execution of the Sunglass Hut Experience and retail excellence.
- Develop customer relationships through interaction and feedback.
- Act as an ambassador for the Sunglass Hut brand and consistently execute brand standards.
- Stay knowledgeable about products, new merchandise, and fashion trends.
- Ensure impeccable execution of operational policies and procedures and maintain brand standards.
- Communicate promotions, contests, and incentives to the team.
