About The Position

Royer's Flowers & Gifts, a 4th Generation family-owned business established in 1937, is a leader in the floral industry with 19 retail locations and two distribution hubs across two states, employing over 300 professionals. They are seeking goal-oriented individuals for a meaningful career in managing a flower shop, bringing comfort and joy to customers. Previous floral design experience is not required, as comprehensive on-the-job training and in-depth instruction will cover daily store operations and floral design. Requirements

• Able to work a schedule of 36-40+ hours/week (additional time required during floral holidays, potentially 50-70 hours/week).
• Possess a high school diploma.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Able to acquire the skills to manage, lead and supervise people.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs.
• Able to demonstrate creativity, leadership and "team player" demeanor.
• Must be a quick learner.

Nice To Haves

• Additional education or related business experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of flower shop management, including daily operations, business management, floral design, and customer care.
• Oversee daily operations of department in the absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Attend periodic manager meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
