About The Position

The Store Manager leads AutoZone store operations and inspires the team to provide outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment. The role combines hands-on team leadership, sales growth, and operational management while fostering a culture of safety, success, and WOW! service for employees and customers. The Store Manager directly supervises all store-level employees and assumes responsibility for store operations and the commercial department when the Commercial Sales Manager is absent.

Requirements

Basic automotive parts knowledge.
Proven leadership experience, with strong communication, decision-making, and sales-driving skills.
Integrity, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while driving operational excellence and team engagement.
Ability to foster a positive work culture focused on development and results.
Proficiency in managing, analyzing, and reconciling Profit & Loss statements.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise safely and accurately.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs arise.

Nice To Haves

Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Recruit, supervise, schedule, train, and develop store personnel.
Assume responsibility for store operations and the commercial department in the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager.
Motivate employees to excel and improve productivity.
Ensure clear and effective team communication, follow up on tasks, and provide timely updates.
Address customer concerns professionally and work to turn complaints into compliments.
Conduct and review opening and closing procedures.
Manage emergency situations and follow accident protocols.
Monitor risk and safety activities, maintain a secure workplace, and ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance.
Drive WOW! customer service and create an outstanding shopping experience.
Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising excellence.
Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security controls to optimize profitability.
Analyze and reconcile Profit & Loss statements and track store performance.
Delegate merchandising tasks and ensure their timely completion.
Provide performance feedback, conduct evaluations, and foster a culture of success.
Directly supervise all store-level employees.
