Responsibilities

• Lead the retail team in achieving daily/weekly/monthly sales goals and meeting store financial plans by driving employee engagement and fostering a collaborative selling environment.
• Assess and strategize to drive performance goals, including Conversion, Units Per Transaction, and Sales Per Hour.
• Utilize company tools and resources to assess business performance, celebrate successes, and address areas for improvement.
• Recruit, hire, manage pay, and make termination decisions for all store personnel, including management.
• Manage employee relations, including coaching, conflict resolution, and ensuring adherence to Beyond Yoga and LS&CO Operational Excellence policies.
• Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires on Beyond Yoga culture, product knowledge, and selling techniques.
• Coach staff to enhance their knowledge and provide opportunities for continued development, creating succession plans for associates.
• Achieve payroll plan by managing store schedules, monitoring labor costs, and adapting staffing based on business conditions and store traffic.
• Ensure sound inventory management through accurate receiving and sending of merchandise, completing price changes and ticketing procedures.
• Prevent loss by educating associates on customer service, monitoring daily store activity, ensuring policy adherence, and partnering with the Home Office.
• Perform store visual standards according to visual merchandising direction, ensuring compelling product presentation and storytelling through styling.
• Adapt visual merchandising direction based on store layout and needs.
• Maintain appropriate product levels on the sales floor through planning and directing floor replenishment.
• Create a compelling store experience by engaging customers and modeling appropriate selling and service behaviors.
• Build relationships naturally, embrace individuality, and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion.
• Collaborate with the store team and Home Office on building local community connections and executing events to drive brand engagement.
