Requirements

Exceptional customer service skills and a talent for building customer loyalty and community relationships.
Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, engagement, and retention.
Experience managing overall store operations within the grocery industry.
Strong financial acumen to deliver outstanding business results.
Commitment to delivering consistent results, every day.
A strong network in the industry and community.
A valid G driver's license with flexibility to travel to Kitchener/Waterloo and Guelph.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Candidates must be 18 years or older and complete a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Anticipate the needs of customers and prioritize them in all actions.
Lead, coach, and motivate colleagues to achieve success and foster their growth.
Participate in community initiatives to build long-term relationships.
Maintain merchandising and operational standards, and be accountable for financial objectives.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
Provide input to the District Manager to help shape business strategy.
Stay informed about industry trends and propose and implement unique ideas.
