About The Position

The Store Lead supports the Store Leadership Team by completing cash-wrap operations and opening and closing procedures, and by serving as Leader on Duty (LOD). The role represents the brand professionally, engages customers, maintains store standards, and supports teamwork and employee development. The Store Lead helps train and develop associates, provides coaching and feedback, supports performance management, and contributes to company training initiatives. The role also supports store productivity and profitability through operational and product knowledge, customer service, payroll processing, schedule adjustments, stockroom organization, and compliance with environmental standards and safety requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of previous retail experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent customer engagement skills.
Detail oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to give and receive performance-based feedback.
Commitment to self-development.
Effective communication skills.
Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing priorities.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to meet business needs and the company's PT/FT availability requirements.
Ability to maneuver on the sales floor and in the stockroom, climb a ladder, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing talent by training associates and providing in-the-moment coaching.
Partner with the Store Manager to address associate performance concerns.
Support and participate in company training and development initiatives.
Foster a positive work environment and provide direct, objective feedback in a timely manner.
Assess performance and provide appropriate feedback daily and during the annual performance review process.
Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and create a positive environment for internal and external customers.
Model and encourage exceptional customer service on the sales floor and maintain store standards and brand integrity.
Represent the company professionally and positively.
Support the management team in maximizing productivity through operational and product knowledge, customer service, and participation in store initiatives.
Participate in the Leader on Duty program by providing an exceptional shopping experience, driving store profitability, and leveraging payroll.
Process payroll weekly.
Modify schedules based on business conditions.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom in accordance with established policies.
Ensure environmental (CRE) standards and safety requirements are met.
Complete cash-wrap operations and opening and closing procedures.
