About The Position

The Temporary Holiday Store Floater supports front-end and general store operations during the busy holiday season. The position helps cover vacations and call-outs and may work in different areas from day to day according to operational needs. The schedule varies based on those needs and is posted two weeks in advance. This is a full-time, hourly, temporary seasonal position paying $19.67 per hour starting.

Requirements

Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule.

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing 40–50 lbs regularly.
Ability to bend, reach, twist, and kneel frequently.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as stocking, bagging, and cashiering.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, responsive customer service throughout the store.
Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
Process cash, credit/debit, and other forms of payment.
Bag groceries carefully to protect product quality.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Stock, face, and rotate products to maintain organized, well-merchandised displays.
Assist customers with questions and locating products.
Perform general store upkeep and restocking tasks.
Follow workplace safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Adapt to changing assignments and department needs.
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
Work collaboratively to support efficient store operations.
Support grocery, produce, wellness, and front-end operations as needed.
Assist with basic merchandising and store presentation.
