The Store Director is responsible for leading all store operations to achieve sales, profit, customer satisfaction, and associate engagement goals. Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop store leadership and associates to achieve professional growth and operational excellence.
  • Build a strong talent pipeline through effective hiring, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful, and engaging work environment aligned with company values.
  • Hold leaders and associates accountable for performance, attendance, and behavior standards.
  • Oversee all daily store operations to ensure consistent execution of company programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health, safety, and loss prevention standards.
  • Drive operational consistency across all departments to deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, ordering, merchandising, and back‑room processes.
  • Achieve or exceed sales, margin, expense, and profit goals.
  • Develop and execute action plans to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies based on trends and results.
  • Control labor and operating expenses while maintaining service and execution standards.
  • Ensure the store delivers a friendly, clean, and customer‑focused shopping environment.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
  • Champion customer service standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, union agreements (where applicable), and legal requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation related to labor, safety, HR, and operational requirements.
  • Partner with Asset Protection to minimize shrink and ensure store security.
  • Represent the company positively within the local community.
  • Partner with District and Corporate leadership to execute strategic initiatives and company programs.
  • Communicate effectively with field and corporate partners to ensure alignment and execution.
