Store Delivery Expert
About The Position
As a Delivery Expert, you deliver pizzas to customers and help ensure fast, accurate, and satisfying service. Enthusiastic customer communication, a positive personality, punctuality, and a sense of urgency are essential. You must maintain a professional appearance consistent with Domino’s and Team Dynamic image standards. The role also includes receiving and processing telephone orders, coordinating with coworkers and customers, taking inventory, stocking ingredients and supplies, and completing related paperwork. Work involves standing for most of the shift, navigating delivery locations and varied terrain, and handling product and supplies.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving history.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check and meet company-specific standards.
- Must be able to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate varied terrain while carrying products.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, and meet strict quality control standards.
- Must be able to analyze and compile data and make sound ethical judgments and decisions in a timely manner.
- Must be willing to take inventory, stock ingredients and supplies, and complete associated paperwork.
- Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.
- Must be comfortable using a computer keyboard, touch screen, and foot-paddle.
- Must be able to stand for most of the shift and walk on ceramic tile and linoleum surfaces.
- Must be able to lift and/or stack ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally crouch, squat, stoop, bend, or use stairs.
- Must have the hand-eye coordination needed to shape pizza dough, maneuver a pizza peel and cutter, and fold pizza boxes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pizzas to customers promptly and provide enthusiastic, professional customer communication.
- Navigate maps, addresses, the designated delivery area, and varied delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Domino’s and Team Dynamic image standards.
- Receive and process telephone orders promptly to support customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
- Take inventory, stock ingredients and supplies in designated storage and work areas, and complete associated paperwork.
- Coordinate with coworkers and customers and meet quality control standards.
- Unload, lift, and stack product ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Perform related store tasks, including shaping pizza dough, handling pizza tools, and folding cardboard pizza boxes.
