Store Delivery Expert
About The Position
As a Delivery Expert, you deliver pizzas to customers and help ensure fast, accurate, and satisfying service. Success in the role requires enthusiastic customer communication, a positive personality, punctuality, a sense of urgency, and a professional appearance consistent with Domino’s and Team Fox image standards. The position also includes store duties such as taking and processing telephone orders, inventory work, stocking ingredients and supplies, and completing related paperwork. Team members may work independently or with others and must meet quality standards while coordinating with coworkers and customers.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have at least one year of driving history.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check and meet company-specific standards.
- Must be able to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate diverse delivery locations.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Must be comfortable using a computer keyboard, touch screen, and foot-paddle.
- Must be able to perform the physical tasks of the role, including standing for most of a shift and lifting or stacking products weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pizzas to customers within the designated delivery area.
- Read maps, locate addresses, and navigate varied delivery locations and terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
- Communicate enthusiastically and professionally with customers and represent the brand with a professional appearance.
- Receive and process telephone orders promptly to support customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
- Take inventory, stock ingredients and supplies in storage and work areas, and complete associated paperwork.
- Unload product deliveries and lift or stack ingredients and supplies.
- Coordinate with coworkers and customers, meet quality-control standards, and make timely, sound decisions.
- Perform repetitive tasks and work alone or with others under stress.
- Handle monetary transactions and provide correct change.
