Store Cleaning Associte
About The Position
The Store Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, with a focus on floor care. The role includes operating a floor scrubber and buffer; dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windows. The associate maintains cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms. The associate follows operational, merchandise, health and safety, and loss prevention standards, and is cross-trained to support multiple store areas as business needs require. This includes responding to front-end coverage needs, supporting store recovery, maintaining signage standards, and communicating effectively with management and associates. Other duties may be assigned. The position offers a starting pay range of $16.00 to $16.50 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits are subject to applicable plan or program terms and, for some benefits, service or hours requirements.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, focusing on floor care.
- Operate and maintain the floor scrubber and buffer; perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windows.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.
- Follow company health and safety policies, including refilling essential items in the lounge, restrooms, and front end.
- Cross-train and work in other store areas, including the backroom, front end, and sales floor.
- Support and respond to front-end coverage needs.
- Follow merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Follow operational and loss prevention controls, including shrink-reduction guidelines and policies.
- Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
- Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including meal and break period policies.
- Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
