About The Position

The Store Cashier II is a key member of the store team, primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests. The role supports a convenient, one-stop shopping experience by assisting customers with transactions and helping keep the store’s food, beverage, and merchandise areas stocked and organized. The cashier also assists with receiving and unloading products and helps train lower-level cashiers. The position works in a customer-focused environment and requires courteous, efficient service, effective communication with coworkers and leaders, and adherence to safety guidelines. Duties may include other job-related tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

Computer and point-of-sale (POS) knowledge is required.
Cash-handling skills are required.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of cashier experience preferred.
Merchandising and stocking experience preferred.
A dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of the team.

Responsibilities

Serve customers courteously, quickly, and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant, and enthusiastic attitude.
Process customer transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) register.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area.
Assist with receiving and unloading products.
Stock and organize merchandise on planograms.
Assist with training lower-level cashiers on job duties and responsibilities.
Prioritize work according to store and management needs.
Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations caused by team members or customers.
Establish strong communication and rapport with leaders and coworkers.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
