About The Position

This is a seasonal position where you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in both a retail and barista setting. You will greet and assist customers with various merchandise, prepare and serve beverages, maintain store operations, handle cash, and perform opening and closing duties. You will also support management with training and special assignments.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers with gifts, souvenirs, toys, sportswear, and tattoo selections.
Provide excellent customer service, suggestive selling, and describe menu items to customers.
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages (coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas).
Take orders, handle payments, and maintain a clean, well‑stocked workspace and dining area.
Ensure beverages are made to high standards and maintain strong communication skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Keep work areas and storage areas clean, organized, and stocked.
Price, stock, and organize sportswear, gifts, souvenirs, and toys.
Maintain knowledge of all merchandise and assist with inventory control.
Follow cash control policies.
Accurately handle cash, balance cash drawers when required, and prepare reports.
Perform opening duties: Set up canopy and tattoo workstations, put out displays and clothing racks, check significant stock items, prepare workstation (cash drawer, rental contracts).
Perform closing duties: Balance cash drawer, clean equipment, store displays/racks, restock inventory, and secure all items properly.
Assist with training programs and special assignments as needed.
Follow all safety rules and procedures; attend safety meetings.
Use time clock properly; arrive on time; overtime must be approved in advance; minimize punch errors.
