About The Position

RED Mountain Resort is hiring Cashier/Baristas for the 2026/27 Winter Season! As a Cashier/Barista at RED Mountain, you’ll ensure every guest receives prompt, accurate, and friendly service while supporting the smooth operation of our Food & Beverage outlets.

Requirements

2–3 years of cashier or serving experience in a restaurant, resort, or hospitality environment.
Must be at least 19 years of age.
Serving It Right Certification.
Excellent food and beverage knowledge.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative spirit with the ability to work independently when required.
Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. and working indoors, with occasional outdoor duties.

Nice To Haves

Experience with POS systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

Assist guests with purchasing food and beverages, providing service efficiently and accurately.
Ring all food and beverage items into the POS system, ensuring no off-menu or complimentary items are given without approval.
Recommend menu items and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience.
Follow RED Mountain’s Food & Beverage policies and procedures and all health & safety regulations.
Handle guest concerns with professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Assist with stock rotation, inventory counts, and general F&B outlet duties as business volumes dictate.
Collaborate with the culinary and FOH teams to ensure smooth communication and operations.
Assists in maintaining table and bar service areas inclusive of bussing and side duties as required throughout the shift
Support other outlets as required.
