About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily store operations in a dynamic, team-based environment. The role includes customer service, checkout, stocking, bakery and produce work, freshness checks, and setting up weekly promotional displays. Associates follow Lidl’s structured processes and productivity standards to keep store operations efficient and ensure a positive customer experience. The position requires working at a fast pace, adapting to changing store needs, and maintaining cleanliness, quality, inventory accuracy, and safety standards throughout the store. The listed starting pay is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products weighing up to and in excess of 45 lbs.
Frequently reach above head height (10+ inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Transition between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and other areas according to store needs.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Conduct freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Answer customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to support inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
