About The Position

Lidl is hiring a full-time Store Associate for its S Tryon St location in Charlotte, North Carolina. Store Associates help keep store operations running and deliver a fast, customer-focused shopping experience. This dynamic, team-based role supports a range of daily operations, including checkout, stocking, bakery and produce tasks, freshness checks, promotional displays, and maintaining store cleanliness. Associates work at a high pace, follow Lidl’s operational processes and efficiency standards, and adapt to changing store needs.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products weighing up to and in excess of 45 pounds, and frequently reach above head height (10 or more inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Move between checkout, stocking, bakery, and produce tasks to meet store needs.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Perform daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Answer customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to support inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
