Store Associate (Part Time) - West Babylon S, NY
About The Position
Store Associates provide customers with Lidl’s shopping experience and take part in all areas of store operations, including stocking, cleaning, bakery operations, and non-food merchandising. The position requires flexibility to start as early as 5 a.m. or finish as late as 11 p.m., including weekends. Starting pay is $20.50 per hour, with potential to earn $25.00 in the future. Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to lift, move, carry, or slide products weighing over 50 pounds.
- Ability to reach above the head to heights greater than 10 inches.
- Flexibility to start an early shift at 5 a.m. or finish a late shift at 11 p.m., including weekends.
- Positive attitude when priorities change.
- Friendly communication style with team members and customers.
- Drive to work hard in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Unpack stock as store deliveries arrive while maintaining a quick pace.
- Provide excellent customer service at registers and throughout the store, answering questions and helping customers locate items.
- Keep the entire store clean and organized, including the parking lot, sales floor, breakroom, and warehouse.
- Learn and complete tasks in the bakery, produce area, and weekly promotional setup.
- Communicate clearly with management and colleagues and work as a team player to complete tasks as needed.
